Welcome to Basketly: Bringing Global Beauty to Your Home

At Basketly, we believe that the heart of a home is in the details—the unique pieces that make a space feel warm, inviting, and personal. Our journey began in 2019 when Johan and I, Blair, started Basketly with a passion for sustainable, beautiful homeware, and a dream to bring the artistry of global craftsmanship to homes everywhere.

In the early days, we focused on sourcing stunning, handwoven baskets from Indonesia and Africa, showcasing the incredible talents of artisans who pour their heart and heritage into every piece. These baskets aren’t just functional; they are a reflection of cultures, traditions, and a connection to nature. We wanted to create a bridge between those distant, talented hands and your home.

Then, in 2020, the world changed. As the pandemic unfolded and life came to a standstill, travel ceased, and many of us found ourselves spending more time at home than ever before. While the world was grappling with uncertainty, one thing became clear—our homes had become more than just places to live; they became our sanctuaries. That’s when people everywhere started to refresh their spaces, creating a sense of comfort and calm in the midst of chaos.

As the demand for home décor skyrocketed during the lockdown, Basketly experienced incredible growth. People found joy in elevating their interiors with meaningful, handcrafted items that told a story. Our baskets, each one crafted with care, became a favorite way to bring beauty and functionality into homes around the world. What started as a small idea in 2019 quickly blossomed into a thriving, growing business during a year when connection and comfort mattered most.

Now, with branches in the USA, South Africa, and New Zealand, Basketly continues to grow, driven by our dedication to offering sustainable, globally inspired homeware that is as beautiful as it is functional. We are honored to be part of your home journey, and we look forward to helping you create spaces that reflect your style, your stories, and your love for the world around us.

Thank you for being part of our story!
